Description

As the Account Director you will be responsible for:

Great client service

* Ensure the team/agency is consistently exceeding client expectations
* Develop a strong relationship with the Client at a senior level; being perceived as the most senior point of contact within the agency
* Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
* Inspires and motivates Clients with the work we are doing and ethos of the agency
* Achieve 85% Client retention
* Maintain high levels of standards in project management in line with the Client Service KPIs

Business development

* Proactively seek out up sell and cross sell opportunities, and participates in new business initiatives
* Prompt development of credentials for key work demonstrating the agency's expertise, innovation and creativity

Financial management

* Meet/surpass the financial targets for the group agreed at the beginning of each financial year
* Lead the group to maintain accurate monthly Client forecasts
* Ensure the group manage projects effectively and meet the agreed KPIs for income, profit margins, utilisation etc.

Team management

* Manage team resources and reward according to income and profit forecasts
* Aid flexible resourcing across Client Services department
* Conduct team appraisals on a six monthly basis
* Being a company role model, mentor and coach to the team; ensuring high levels of performance at all times, promote and facilitate development and growth across lines of business
* Manage annual leave within the team to ensure Client service is never disrupted
* Ensure 100% timesheet completion each week
* Ensure recognition for yourself and your team

Creative and strategic thinking

* Understand design theory and effectively sells creative with strategic rationale
* Project how potential ideas may play out in the marketplace
* Apply creative thinking to strategic briefs based on insight


Profile

The successful candidate will:

* Have a proven track record within a PR Agency, ideally at Account Manager level or above.
* Be degree level educated, 2:1 or above.
* Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Have a good work ethic.
* Be career orientated.
* Be driven to succeed.
