Senior Customer Marketing Manager

About the role
Reporting into the Marketing and Ecommerce Director with a team of 3, you’ll be responsible for the planning and delivery of our customer communications, campaigns and promotions to drive sales from existing customers and promote brand engagement and long-term customer loyalty. You will create commercially effective seasonal marketing strategies and plans to encourage customer retention and re-engagement. You will also test your thinking by analysing and drawing insights from our extensive customer data and working with our data agencies to help inform your decision making and targeting.
We are truly omnichannel and our paper based magazine mailings are still an enormous driver of our sales. You will be responsible for communicating via mail order magazines, direct mail, email and retail marketing whilst working in partnership with our digital and web team to achieve your wider goals. Budgeting and analysis of data, activity and testing strategies will be a key part of the role. Our operation is unusual and complex and our data can sometimes be hard to interpret, you will therefore have to gain a full understanding of our wider business model to ensure your analysis and decisions are commercial and effective for us and our customers.
Finally, to achieve our purpose you will also ensure that our messaging, visuals and tone of voice are clearly and consistently portrayed in all marketing activity using the content created by our creative team so we that make our customers smile, feel a sense of shared experience, empowerment and that big boobs are great!
We are looking for an individual who combines imagination with a strong commercial focus. You will have a background in multi-channel retail or a similar customer facing business, with hands on experience of direct customer marketing. A good knowledge of offline marketing channels and experience with working on mail order magazines, CRM and a range of marketing agencies is essential.
Bravissimo has a unique commercial model and many traditional marketing methods don’t work for us so you must be open minded and ready to embrace a challenge, taking on new ideas without being constrained by “how things should be done”. You will need to be highly numerate and able to deal with complex analysis – a degree with significant maths content would be helpful.
As a manager, you will have the ability to inspire, motivate and enthuse others to think commercially, test their ideas and visions with our data and continuously learn.
