Provide a professional media & public relations service, and contribute to raising the company's profile, particularly in local, national & international media, and provide a professional copy writing and editing service.

Description

Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will have full responsibility for all PR and Communications both internally, and externally across the business.



Some of your day to day accountability's will be:



* Work both re actively and pro-actively with journalists from print, broadcast and on-line media from all sections of the media spectrum, including the national and specialist media.
* Develop and deliver PR strategy.
* Work with the marketing team to develop the use of digital media, including all forms of social media, as channels for the communications output.
* Initiate and, in some cases, manage specific PR and marketing-related projects to include various departments and staff, and where appropriate external contacts & colleagues.
* Be responsible for the news section of the company website and to the up-dating of media contact lists.


Profile

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must have:





* Proven track record of paid, relevant work experience in public relations and/or media, with evidence of success.
* Proven experience of working with regional/national media and strong media contacts.
* Copy-writing and editing experience.
* Excellent written communication skills to support the delivery of various communications - in particular external news items & marketing opportunities.


Job Offer

12 months FTC - £35,000 with flexible working.
