Your new company
My client is a global manufacturer and supplier of specialist equipment to FMCG and Retail clients. With over 13 specialists brands, they provide extensive market coverage and end-to-end solutions to customers. Their products range from everyday to premium, and they can boast the largest, fastest growing brands in the category. Due to long term planned leave of 18 months - 2 years, my client are taking the opportunity to relocate this job from Germany to the UK where it will join an ambitious, fast-paced team.

Your new role
As Marketing Brand Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing the best global positioning of your specific brand in the competitive market place. You will determine the brand identity and develop the brand messaging aligning to the target customer segment; working closely with the regional Commercial and Marketing teams to identify requirements and opportunities as well as ensuring the most effective positioning of the brand and supporting the regions in effective execution of your brand marketing plans for maximum impact. You will develop and manage budgets to support marketing activities and sales goals, and support colleagues with internal brand-related marketing queries.

In essence, this role will take ownership of one of the company's leading, premium brands; updating and defining the brand identity, controlling all external communications and implementing your marketing plans. This is an end-to-end role, strategic and operational, with product launches and brand planning.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need demonstrable experience in a generalist marketing or brand role in order to create and implement your plans. You will be confident evaluating and creating brand identity and strategy, and likewise comfortable creating product launch marketing plans and seeing through from concept to implementation and reporting. You will be required to be hands-on in creating content, executing digital marketing campaigns and working with a network of regional teams to execute launches cross-market. You will therefore need multi-country product launch experience - and any language skills are a benefit. This is a B2B role but B2B or B2C experience is applicable. You will also be available to start over the summer (by mid-end July) and comfortable with 2 week-long trips to Germany for a handover in August, as well as future travel in the role (up to 20%).

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £50000 plus company benefits including company pension scheme, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, bonus scheme and discretionary flexible working. You will have the opportunity to bring a role into the UK team and take ownership of that project from the ground up. This is a contract position for 18 months, with potential to be extended for up to 3 years.
