The Communications Executive will be responsible for the delivery of the communications strategy to ensure the ongoing promotion of the organisation's profile.

A leading housing association supporting local organisations and groups by building sustainable communities within the Kent region.


* Assisting the development and implementation of the organisation's communications and marketing activity, with a focus on social media, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's brand
* Creating engaging content for the organisation's website, intranet, social media channels and marketing campaigns (email) to raise the profile of the organisation and improve engagement
* Liaising closely with design and print agencies and suppliers
* Managing the content and performance (SEO) of the organisation's websites and intranet
* Creating and delivering compelling integrated email campaigns to customers and stakeholders
* Planning and delivering a forward planner for our communications content, particularly social media
* Producing short videos that succinctly explain our services and promote our work
* Monitor the company's media landscape and distribute regular media alerts and statistics to senior managers
* Monitoring and analysing performance and analytics of campaigns and producing quarterly activity reports for presentation to senior members of the organisation
* Providing support with the running of events as necessary



* Ability to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues and external agencies
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to write engaging copy across a range of platforms
* Experience managing and delivering marketing campaigns
* Knowledge of using a CMS system
* Experience of producing multimedia content including photos, film, audio
* Sound analytical skills with experience in measuring the performance of websites, social media channels, etc
* Excellent and consistent attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workload to meet tight deadlines
* Creative and problem solving approach
* A flexible and proactive team-player with a can do attitude


* Previous experience in a B2C environment
* Experience using Photoshop and InDesign
* Understanding of SEO best practice
