An exciting opportunity to join a well-known CCG based in London as a Communications Manager working on high profile communications projects.

Description

*

Maintain and improve communication channels for the CCG's internal and external stakeholders as well as being responsible for day-to-day media management, digital communications, campaigns and stakeholder management.
*

Develop CCG publications including stakeholder briefings and the CCG's annual report.
*

Responsible for content on the CCG's website, intranet and social media accounts and play a key role in event management including public forums, AGMs, staff briefings and other stakeholder events.
*

You will deputise for the Senior Communications Lead for the CCG and attend management team meetings as appropriate.
* Work closely with Patient and Public Engagement colleagues to ensure the CCG is meeting statutory duties in relation to the involvement of patients, carers and the public in the commissioning of services.


Profile

* Experience in a similar role ideally working within the NHS or for a CCG.
* Proven experience writing for a variety of internal and external audiences, including: board/executive team reports, strategies, web copy, public-facing documents, media statements.
* Experience of working with a diverse range of health care stakeholders, including GPs, clinicians, senior managers, front line staff, commissioners, patients and their representative groups.
* Experience of developing and delivering successful marketing and communications strategies and campaigns.


Job Offer

£220 - £230 per day, 4 month contract with the potential to extend. Based in London.
