We are working on a great opportunity in a brand new role within a fast growing management consultancy, headquartered in Oxford. The firm require a Market Insight Manager who will play a pivotal role in the development and repositioning of this growing business. The Market Insight Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director, the Managing Director and the Senior Management Team to develop and shape this new function and will initially have one direct report, and budgetary responsibility for the insight and marketing intelligence budget, with the potential for further growth in the future. You will identify new research areas and manage any surveys and research undertaken either internally or externally and will be responsible for the scanning, analysis and insight into business sectors, market trends and competitors and for distilling insight from market, sector, competitor and client data. Establishing and managing the process for capturing, processing, storing and distributing sector facts and data and knowledge management via SharePoint are key elements of this role. Insight will be used to inform the organisation's growth strategy, help the business develop solutions in response to client challenges and drive the firm's thought leadership agenda. The role holder will write thought leadership pieces and white papers, and work with the inbound marketing agencies to develop campaign collateral. You will also be required to support consulting colleagues and clients with insight and expertise on an ongoing basis.

The firm is looking for a bright marketing intelligence specialist with extensive B2B experience and a strong understanding of professional services, to include agency management experience and general marketing. The Market Insight Manager will also possess excellent writing, communications and presentation skills combined with an outstanding ability to translate key insights into executive-friendly communications. Gravitas and credibility with a senior audience is pre-requisite.
