The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for developing internal communications policy and strategy and educating the business at all levels of the importance of the internal communications function.

* Develop and deliver an internal and change communications strategy that engages staff and promotes the organisation's vision and help achieve employee engagement
* Working closely with other senior management and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and unite staff with the organisation's vision
* Develop, manage and deliver communications projects, campaigns and activities including news, channel management (online and offline), creative campaigns using a range of tools, engagement (including guidance, training and measurement of performance), and the planning and management of employee events
* Monitor, review and report on the internal communications and change programmes
* Maintain internal resources for staff to provide a clear narrative of who the organisation are and what they do
* Providing recommendations for all internal and external communications projects as needed across the organisation
* Review current landscape to develop tools and tactics to drive greater cross-departmental collaboration
* Liaising with a number of internal teams as well as external stakeholders such as creative agencies, event suppliers, etc.



* Experience in developing and implementing internal and change communications across functional boundaries in a large, complex organisation
* People management skills and experience in supervising or managing the performance of team members
* Track record in utilising a range of communication tools and channels effectively, including internal social media, publications, news, creative campaigns, etc.
* Excellent communications (copywriting and editing) and interpersonal skills with an ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
* Proven project management skills and experience including creative design and brand management
* Sound experience of working with and influencing senior management
* Proactive self-starter with excellent organisational and time management skills


* Event management experience
* Digitally-savvy
