This is a great opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and creative FMCG marketer with a track record in brand management. We offer an entrepreneurial high profile new role in an international, dynamic and award-winning business that is truly going places.   

Our client Carrs Foods International is a £60m t/over fast moving entrepreneurial business without the bureaucracy and formalities of the bigger corporate. An international branded bakery business, with a brand portfolio including St Pierre, Baker Street and Paul Hollywood Ready to Bake Breads. All production and logistics are outsourced.  With 24 employees they are customer focused and have a strong reputation for innovation. As a result of phenomenal growth Carrs Foods were ranked No 7 in the Sunday Times International Fast Track 200 league table in June 2017; and appeared in the London Stock Exchange 1000 companies to inspire Britain in May 2018.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will join the small but very busy marketing team and will take responsibility for the brand management of allocated brands:

  • marketing strategy – be creative & innovative
  • marketing plans - digital, PR, in-store & packaging
  • data & market analysis - uncover consumer trends for NPD 
  • with external agencies – bring our brands to life 
  • business growth – liaise with sales to create new selling opportunities
  • influence key senior stakeholders and teams across our business
  • project manage your projects in the UK and internationally

You will be an experienced, ambitious and creative FMCG marketer, ideally degree and/or CIM qualified with the following experience, skills and behaviours:

  • A track record in brand management
  • Experience setting & implementing strategy 
  • Ability to develop & deliver robust marketing plans 
  • Strong analytical & data evaluation skills (Nielsen, Dunhumby & Kantar ideal)
  • Digitally savvy
  • An entrepreneurial, innovative and pro-active interpersonal style
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal) 
  • Professionally confident as an external representative of the business   
  • A sense of humour (we like to enjoy our work)

Our client offers flexible working - start times (0800-1000 hrs daily). It’s a great place to work. Occasional international travel may be required.
