Product Manager - Sports Company - £35-43k - Liverpool

Your new company
Your new company is a well-established organisation in the sport and leisure sector who have just had a huge investment into the company and are now seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their team based in Liverpool on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your new role
You will work closely with the Head of Acquisition and will be responsible for setting the short, medium and long term vision and strategy for the category and developing and delivering effective digital marketing plans which ensure the achievement of sales targets. Additionally you will act as the Product Owner for the web and mobile transition programme. Day to day, you will assume responsibility for all digital products and make recommendations for change in order to continually optimise and drive efficiency and lead on product development. You will work closely with different departments across the business to ensure effective delivery including the digital development team in order to drive product line up, improve user journey and ensure product growth and achieve revenue growth. You will play a key role in defining weekly and monthly category promotions across all digital acquisition and retention marketing activities as well as acting as the 'go-to' contact within the organisation for critical information about the category including, product, market insight, competition, customers and prospects.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive prior experience in product management, ideally within the sport or leisure sector and a high degree of understanding of digital customer acquisition and retention. You will be able to operate at a strategic level making commercial decisions and recommendations and have the ability to implement plans and marketing activities which deliver on KPIs and drive revenue. You will have a high degree of technical understanding in order to facilitate the delivery of product development projects which take in to account user journey and experience and product growth. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
