An exciting opportunity with a leading Consumer and FMCG business based in Berkshire is seeking a Business & Consumer Insight Lead to be responsible for connecting European markets consumer behaviour and retail consumption with ROI and leading Consumer, Business and Shopper Insights for the European Region too. You must be able to co-pilot and maintain collaborative relations with the Global insights division with flawless implementation skills too.

This position will sit on the senior leadership team of a global organisation which focuses in on it's people. With a focus on key results and commercials and an environment of fun too, this business is a staple within the Consumer and FMCG community and has brands which both transcend the globe but also throughout time too.


The successful Business & Consumer Insight Lead will be responsible for;

Leading Consumer, Business and Shopper insights for the European Region, aligning local and global needs.

* Be an indispensable partner to Europe leadership by providing a strong, objective perspective on the voice of the consumer and co-piloting with the global insights team.
* Ensuring that all outputs are actionable; conveying findings and recommendations through both written reports and presentations in a concise and compelling way.
* Designing, coordinating and executing strategic qualitative and quantitative research projects.
* Planing primary research projects involving a wide range of methodologies e.g. focus groups, ethnographies and simulated shopping methodologies.


The successful Business & Consumer Insight Lead will have the following capabilities:

* Experience and demonstrated results in transforming an organisation to become consumer-and market- insights driven

* The ability to tailor communications to different audiences and communicating to all levels of stakeholders.
* The ability to synthesise qualitative insights from a variety of methods into coherent strategic communications.
* A results oriented, self-motivated and competitive work ethic.
* Advanced analytics combined with enhanced commercial understanding across multiple countries
* Experience in working with research vendors and ensuring clarity on expectations from suppliers
* Knowledge of other European languages and Tableau are valuable
