This organisation is looking for two Direct Marketing Officers to join their Acquisition team in London on a permanent basis.

Client Details

This organisation is a well-known charity, focused on children with a wide reaching marketing team.


The key responsibilities of this Direct Marketing Officer will be:

* Contributing to the acquisition team's planning processes and analysing acquisition and direct marketing campaigns/media performances
* Working with internal teams to ensure the objectives of the direct marketing team are met within deadlines
* To be available when necessary, sometimes working beyond the organisation's working hours
* Producing and delivering on acquisition campaigns, including overseeing copy and artwork, developing F2F experiences and corresponding with internal teams and external agencies about media buying and complex data choices, keeping within planned budgets and deadlines
* To work closely with the direct marketing team and senior marketing director ensuring the co-ordination of all activities, retaining a focus on donors
* Work closely with and support internal digital teams to ensure they have a strong understanding of the direct marketing team's objectives
* To work closely with the organisation's PR and trading teams to develop and make the best use of all opportunities
* Managing both internal and external relationships, including those with direct marketing agencies


The person specification for this Direct Marketing Officer will:

* Expertly make logical analysis on all available information, basing decisions on insight and not assumptions
* Be able to utilise time management to ensure multiple concurrent tasks are completed by set deadlines, incorporating a flexible response to any unforeseen occurrences internally and externally
* Be forthcoming with innovative and creative ideas
* An appetite, ability, and openness to learn, including with digital media tools
* Have experience in acquisition and direct marketing campaigns, across multiple media platforms
* Experience of analysing and contributing to direct marketing campaigns, strategies, budgets, and plans
* Working with supporter care teams to proactively maintain and increase supporter care levels
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of around £33,000. The role is a permanent role.
