Our client is a multi-specialist worldwide FMCG Company offering a role with their leading brand that is being present in over 120 countries worldwide. Our clients brand has achieved a high level of specialisation and continues to offer innovative solutions to its consumers year after year. Our clients brand is split up into different categories and the core category represents 65% of total turnover - resulting in a huge acceleration over the last 5 years including a +25% company growth. 2018 is an exciting year for the Product manager to join the core category as it introduces a great media plan, new innovation and finalises a 2019 collection.


Reporting to the Marketing Manager the Product Manager will be responsible for.

* Analysing the UK market trends and competitors

* Monthly analysis of core category sell-on and sell-out data

* Responsibility of the UK core category sales turnover and profitability.

* Constant communication with Group Head Quarters and Internal UK Stakeholders to ensure NPD is constantly developed

* Develop the core category marketing plan with marketing manager for trade marketing and product launches

* Support development and delivery of promotional campaigns both on and offline

* Drive digital strategy campaigns

* Support UK sales team with key retailer strategy platforms and events

* Communication and support to the UK PR Agency

* Collaborating with outside agencies on artwork and creativity for online print and instore collateral.

* Manage and attend all consumer and trade shows to raise brand awareness

* Oversee the brand head office gold standard showroom.


Our clients ideal Product Manager will have a minimum of 2 years FMCG experience and ideally be doing Product Manager Responsibilities. The candidate should have a degree in marketing/business studies/ economics - be strong with Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook. The candidate should be career 'hungry' and have great analytical and numerical skills.

Job Offer

The Product Manager can expect to receive a salary up to 30k depending on experience plus benefits.
