Marketing Planning and Analytics Manager

£38,000 - £58,000 per annum

Are you an experienced marketing analytics or marketing planning manager (or similar) with experience of campaign tracking, reporting and budget management? Would you like to play a key role in helping a well-known financial services brand to shape and communicate its proposition?

We are currently recruiting for a Planning and Analytics Manager to support the workplace pensions team of a leading organisation in the investments, pensions and saving space in East Sussex.

The role:

* Providing vital planning and analytics support to the client communications team within workplace pensions.
* Ensuring data and insight is used to shape and drive communications, optimisation and ROI through digital and offline marketing channels.
* Providing a central planning function for client communications and a road-map for all planned activity.
* Developing and managing an internal capacity planning model, highlighting resources, skills and challenges.
* Delivering a suite of Marketing Intelligence to evaluate the success of communications activity and inform on future development.
* Collating and producing MI dashboards for senior management teams.
* Coordinating budget reporting and forecasting.
* Preparing insight presentations that are creative and engaging, presenting these to stakeholders in the form of recommendations.

The successful person:

* Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Professional qualification in marketing or numeracy.
* Prior experience in a similar analytics role, ideally within financial services, although flexible if relevant analytics skills are held.
* Experience in marketing planning and/or analytics.
* Experience in data modelling.
* Exposure to web and social media analytics tools, e.g. Adobe Site Catalyst, Qubit, Google Analytics, or other personalisation/testing tools.
* Experience of campaign tracking and analytics within MS Dynamics, Salesforce or similar.
* Corporate reporting and budget management experience.
* Understanding of or an interest in the UK financial sector.
* Advanced level Excel skills.
* The ability to communicate complex concepts/subject matter to audiences and stakeholders with limited technical understanding!
* Confidence to communicate with all levels of a business, with the client at the heart of all you do.
* A proven team player, willing to get involved in all aspects of the business.
* Project management skills are highly beneficial.
