A leading architecture and design practice is seeking a creative Communications Assistant to provide communication and graphic design support to their team. This practice specialises in educational, workplace, residential projects and more. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their marketing and communications skills within the architecture and design industry.

Key responsibilities:

* Design and production of in-house communications materials such as brochures, presentations, etc. via InDesign
* First point of contact for in-house brand queries
* Create and update new branded documents via InDesign and edit images via Photoshop
* Manage printing process when needed
* Website and social media management such as sourcing new material, updating and scheduling content, engagement activities, etc.
* Prepare and submit awards entries, source new entry material from internal architecture teams, and assist with researching new award opportunities
* Assist with PR such as monitoring press coverage, updating website and social media with relevant PR, and uploading the coverage to the internal image library
* Manage the internal image library
* Assist with production of projects when needed, such as reviewing and improving assets, publications and materials
* Provide general assistance when needed to the team



Key skills:

* At least one-year experience working in a similar role within the creative industry
* A qualification in graphic design or significant experience of professional graphic design work
* Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and MS Office Suite
* Experience in image library software, Illustrator and other Adobe CS software preferred
* Proficient in social media and scheduling platforms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Highly organised with ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines
* Enthusiastic with a desire to help a team succeed
