Head of Product and Propositions - Pensions

£60,000 - £85,000 per annum

The Head of Product and Proposition is responsible for leading the development of compelling client and member communication strategies alongside engaging and innovative technology solutions within the workplace pension market. This role will champion the member experience and voice of customer across all product and proposition delivery.

The role:

* Delivering and contributing to the overall communications strategy for all product and proposition and investment launches within workplace pensions.
* Liaising with stakeholders across the business to develop innovative, engaging communications solutions (online and offline) to meet business objectives and improve customer experience, whilst taking into account budget effectiveness.
* Undertaking continuous analysis of the competitive landscape and trends to inform on new and innovative communications solutions.
* Measuring the impact of communication propositions and online solutions to inform on future strategy. Taking responsibility the ongoing improvement and management of proposition materials.
* Working with the Head of Marketing Services to agree channel strategies, securing resources to implement communications strategies in line with budget and plan.
* Leading a team of high performing communications professionals.
* Providing proposition and digital product expertise on business projects, representing the voice of customer at all times.
* Ensuring that efficient people, processes and systems are in place to ensure that communications plans adhere to TCF policies.

The successful person:

* Track record of success in a senior marketing, product and proposition role.
* Proven track record in leading digital product or propositions teams within a financial services environment, ideally pensions.
* Sound commercial background with experience of building successful strategies to drive both business and customer outcomes.
* Track record of building compelling business cases to secure funding /investment technology solutions.
* Experience required in:
* Project management
* Agile working practices
* Digital platforms, CMS, voice apps
* Research and segmentation to predict market trends
* Budget planning and forecasting
* Strong understanding of the work place pensions market place.
* Experience in leading a team of multi-disciplinary, high performing professionals to successfully plan and execute marketing programmes.
* A confident leader, with strong stakeholder management skills.
* Able to work with technical and creative teams.
* Pension and investment fund product awareness.
* Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to spot original marketing and digital opportunities.
