An excellent opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join an exciting Financial Services organisation based in Guildford

Client Details

My client is a Financial Services Organisation based in the heart of Guildford


The Marketing Manager will have the following responsibilities;

* Planning, monitoring progress and managing resources to achieve marketing and project deliverables on time and within budget

* Identifying, appointing (within approved budget) and managing the day to day relationships with external providers

* Contributing ideas and proposals on all marketing activities

* Acting as a point of reference to provide support and guidance on all areas of marketing activity to managers and staff, and training and mentoring junior members of the team, assuming temporary responsibility for managing junior colleagues in the absence of the head of marketing

* Reviewing material to ensure accuracy, sense, relevance and compliance with brand guidelines

* Producing brochures, product literature, direct mail campaigns, website content and presentations; drafting own content as well as editing and proofreading contributions from colleagues and external collaborators

* Coordinating the delivery of direct marketing campaigns, advertising, website updates, events and sales promotion initiatives targeted at intermediaries and direct clients as appropriate, liaising with suppliers and attending in person where necessary

* Ensuring that all marketing output is compliant with current regulations and best practice guidance

* Researching the market, tracking product developments and competitor activities, and reporting relevant news to marketing team

* Providing quantitative and qualitative feedback on marketing activities which includes relevant analysis and commentary and creating a monthly MI pack for senior management


The Marketing Manager should have the following skillset;

* A strong Marketing Background, preferably within the financial services sector

* High standard of written and verbal communication

* Effective communication with colleagues, intermediaries and clients; able to explain technical subjects to non-technical audiences

* Prioritise and manage time effectively

* Define and implement logical processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

* Work effectively on multiple projects under the direction of different project leaders

* Pay attention to detail, producing accurate work and reviewing the work of others

Job Offer

The Marketing Manager will be offered a salary of up to £35,000pa on a 6 month FTC
