A fantastic new position has become available for a Social Media Officer to join an industry-leading organisation based in Peterborough! If you have a passion for social media marketing and creating engaging content to go out via these channels, then this could be a great next step for you in joining a friendly & dynamic team that are passionate about what they do. As Social Media Officer, you will essentially be responsible for developing and delivering the social media strategy in order to grow the company's presence. Experience within social media for marketing purposes is a massive advantage, but they will provide training to those with a digital background!

Reporting into the Communications Manager, key responsibilities of the Social Media Officer will include: creating content to go out via social media channels; managing the social media accounts; keeping up to date with industry trends; attending events and much more!

It will be a fast-paced and busy role and so as Social Media Officer, you can expect to get involved in helping with the strategy as well as day to day management, so the successful candidate will be personable, confident and comfortable in dealing with new situations/stakeholders. A proactive nature will suit the company culture!
