Coast & Country Cottages is an award-winning holiday agency concerned solely with the marketing and management of beautiful holiday properties in locations across the South Hams. With offices in Salcombe and Dartmouth and a current portfolio of around 400 properties, this locally based agency is busier than ever.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time in-house Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the strategic creation, development and implementation of our digital and offline marketing campaigns.  

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage all aspects of a fully integrated marketing strategy and an in-house team, including the strategic analysis of sales reports, and optimization of website, social media channels, email automation, content planning, SEO, advertising and PR.  They will also craft and direct a coherent and data driven marketing narrative and be able to manage innovative marketing campaigns and collateral.

Our preferred applicant will be educated to degree level and will also hold either IDM or CIM qualifications, as well as having a least five years’ experience in marketing.  Aware of the latest marketing initiatives and trends, they will be able to demonstrate an ability to achieve and exceed targets and suggest creative proposals for boosting sales numbers.  They may be an Assistant Marketing Manager seeking career progression or an established Marketing Manager, with experience of managing a team, looking for a new challenge.

This is an office-based role and applicants must be prepared to work five days a week from our Salcombe office with occasional visits to our Dartmouth office and to external suppliers and properties.  Occasional weekend work supporting marketing events will also be required.
