This regional firm is looking for a Senior BD Executive (Real Estate) to work with the real estate team to develop and deliver their BD strategy in line with firm-wide objectives. You will be seen as a key member of the team, proactively contributing, championing and instilling BD best practice in the firm.

The role holder's primary stakeholders are the partners and fee-earners within real estate as well as the real estate Service Delivery Manager. A key part of the role is promoting real estate services to other parts of the business and within BDM. You will also build wider stakeholder engagement and ensure adherence to BDM best practice. The role holder will liaise with external parties such as suppliers, clients and referrers.

Your main duties include:
* Strategy & planning
* Targeting & prospecting
* Pitches, proposals and tender submissions
* Client relationship management and key client and referrer activities
* Profile raising
* Management of information, projects and budgets
* General marketing and BD support as required

You will have experience within a professional services environment, ideally legal. Knowledge of and experience in the real estate sector is highly desirable, as is a minimum of 4 years within a marketing role with operational responsibility for business development activities. You'll have experience of business development, specifically key account management, sales pipelines and bids, multi-channel campaign management, have a wide experience of using a variety of IT packages (mainly MS Office), databases and new technology solutions, be accustomed to dealing with external clients, referrers, suppliers, senior internal colleagues and support staff at all levels and accustomed to working without close supervision but maintaining a regular information flow particularly with team members and all internal clients.
You'll have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability and credibility to challenge, influence and advise people at all levels. You will have effective time and resource management skills, accuracy and attention to detail, be flexible, energetic, self-motivated, organised and accustomed to meeting tight deadlines and be a team player - accustomed to operating within a team environment, taking responsibility for own work and that of others. London or Kent based, and open to flexible working.
