Our client is a growing digital brand, based in Leeds. They have experienced considerable growth over recent years, and now have a new requirement for an experienced Marketing/Data Analyst to join their team.

We are looking for a candidate to take true ownership of data sets & insights. ​This role will have  analytical ownership of high-visibility initiatives, partnering with marketing teams to understand how customers  interact with marketing channels and produce insights to optimise customer acquisition, conversion & retention.   To be successful in this role, you will need a strong track-record in advanced analytics, extracting actionable  business insights in the online space as well as a strong passion and strength in consumer and market  understanding to develop creative and innovative solutions that allow us to win in the marketplace. 

Duties -

Marketing analytics: ​Evaluate the performance of traffic driven from the different marketing channels, and identify traffic & conversion opportunities at a channel level to grow orders & new customers.
Customer analytics:​ Expert in marketing and customer data, understand the role of marketing channels in customer acquisition and the impact of marketing activities on customer behaviour.
Site analytics:​ Use data to inform product roadmap & site flow optimisation decisions.
Reporting:​ Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers and provide recommendations.
ROI: ​Assist with the set-up and measurement of testing programmes designed to understand the return on investment from marketing activities across channels, and make recommendations for customer targeting, and optimisation of spend across channels.
Data security: ​Ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance is applied to all analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate must be driven and will thrive in a fast paced environment.


- Must have advanced MS Excel skills
- Ideally have exeprience of SQL, Tableau or Qlikview
- Having some experience using web analytics tools (ideally Google Analytics and/or Adobe) would be beneficial.
