As Marketing Manager, you will create marketing strategies and plans to engage Barnardo’s audiences – scoping the market and developing integrated marketing plans for a wide range of products and services. You’ll ensure that each plan has clearly defined targets, timescales and budgets. And you’ll embed audience insight firmly at the heart of the marketing planning process. As well as delivering effective plans, you’ll be rigorous about evaluating them, setting measurable KPIs for all activity and establishing robust processes for monitoring against them.
As a key part of the Marketing Planning and Strategy team, you will be working on a range of exciting projects, supporting colleagues from across the organisation. Your excellent interpersonal skills and natural collaborative working style will enable you to manage stakeholder expectations, prioritise work and communicate objectives. You’ll need to be adept at mentoring and supporting the development of others. And with a track record of growing audiences, in particular via paid media, social, SEO, experiential or event marketing, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running and help Barnardo’s support the UK’s most vulnerable children.
