A professional services organisation based in West Yorkshire

Due to an increase in activity, my client is actively looking for an ambitious Marketing & Business Development Executive to join their team. This role is responsible for developing, delivering and monitoring strategic marketing and business development activity.


* Lead on sector driven marketing and business development activity nationally and assisting in writing thought leadership content where applicable.
* Develop and deliver the national BD plans, checking progress against plans regularly, and ensuring delivery within budget and adequate ROI.
* Be a brand advocate ensuring that all communications are brand compliant.
* Develop issues driven campaigns, working with all service lines and sector groups, to generate leads.
* Manage sector third party relationships
* Actively post on social media setting an example for Partners and develop a platform to engage with the sub-sectors.
* Input into the bid/no-bid qualification process for your sub-sectors.
* Be a consultant on high value and strategically important bids within your sub-sectors to ensure all sector expertise is demonstrated and understand the sector's bidding activity to influence success rates.
* Develop and maintain materials to support business development, such as up to date sector information, testimonials and credentials and act as a central point for collating innovative ideas and driving best practice.
* Deliver high quality, effective internal communications, including intranet content, within and on behalf of your sub-sectors.

Personal Profile

* Priority focus on lead generation and a drive/hunger to win work in the sector on a national scale.
* A marketing professional with a good level of marketing and business development experience, preferably within a professional services environment
* A CIM qualification or Marketing related degree.
* A proactive and self-motivated individual who can take full ownership of initiatives and drive these forward, delegating where appropriate.
* Ability to influence and advise Partners.
* An active team player.
* Management of own workload and priorities.
* Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
