WBS is looking for a talented Brand Manager to support the continued development and implementation of a new brand identity. WBS’s new brand states ‘We welcome the problem solvers, value creators and change makers of tomorrow’ and the successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and developing a verbal identity that clearly communicates the School’s competitive positioning, value proposition and a strong narrative that brings this new branding to life.
The successful candidate will have varied responsibilities from developing school-wide tone of voice guidelines, proposition and positioning statements to conducting audience profiling. Working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including Marketing Managers, Designers and academics, the successful candidate will enjoy producing engaging copy for print and online marketing assets (e.g. brochures, website and digital campaigns)
The post holder will bring significant experience of working in brand management, marketing, copywriting or advertising in a complex and large organisation. They will lead the Design team and manage external relationships with advertising and print agencies. Excellent communication and organisational skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and able to juggle a large workload is essential. The ability to write well, with accuracy and attention to detail, and, most importantly to think creatively is also essential. A willingness to work in an integrated way and ability to spot and maximise opportunities to grow the brand is an important requirement for this role.
