Client Details

A prestigious Society with an over 250 year history based in Central London


The Digital Assistant will be responsible for:

* Updating the website, maintaining current design standards and ensuring consistency across the site. This will involve the use of common web technologies, and will include the use of software such as Photoshop, PowerPoint.

* Working with the team tto ensure GDPR Compliance.

* Assisting Digital Content Manager in development of social media marketing collateral.

* Advising and helping staff to ensure that digital content matches house style and conforms to content and image standards, complies with all relevant legislation and usability best practice and does not compromise the integrity of the site.

* Supporting collection of analytics data, using systems such as Google Analytics and Google Data Studio, and its dissemination to relevant parties across the organisation.

* Assist in liaising with external developers to manage development projects.

* Managing, updating and promoting the new Instagram channel. Providing support for the other social media channels as appropriate.

* Supporting discreet web development projects, working with external developers, to optimise the user experience.


The successful Digital Assistant will have:

* Previous experience of working with a fully featured CMS, such as Episerver

* Proven working knowledge of Photoshop, PowerPoint and/or other software relevant to web design and maintenance

* Ability to speedily assimilate large amounts of information

* Ability to communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

* Advanced level of general computer literacy

* Strong working knowledge of standard web technologies such as HTML

* Some experience in moderating/managing online communities and/or social networking platforms

* The ability to implement content and design creatively and innovatively

* Ability to organise work logically and prioritise tasks, with a thorough attention to detail

* A pro-active approach to work (e.g.: awareness of latest web technologies, legislation and usability best practice)

* Ability to coordinate publishing content with other web authors

* Desirable: a passion for the Arts.

Job Offer

The successful Digital Assistant will make a tangible difference at a prestigious organisation, and earn up to £120 per day.
