A strong track record building compelling and effective trade & customer marketing initiatives is key for this busy and exciting role in the heart of London working with a highly regarded premium brand in the wines category targeted at discerning consumers in markets across the world. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced, but quite relaxed, team'y environment, you will play a key role in developing the trade strategy for the UK and key international markets, aligning trade activity with sales and brand objectives.
 
Our client is an award winning wine producer and leader in its category, with a brand available only in premium retail outlets and fine bars and restaurants. It continues to show impressive growth, and is investing in building the team to step-change it's growth in the UK and international markets.
 
Working alongside the brand team and the specialist team of field-based brand ambassadors, you will champion trade and consumer activations across all premium retail and on-trade touch-points in leading bars and restaurants; assisting in designing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and developing trade marketing materials and toolkits.  You will build close working relationships with key customers, developing joint business plans and ensuring that the CRM system is effective in driving loyalty and engagement.
 
To meet the challenges of these roles, you will have a track record of marketing achievement and hands-on luxury brand experience, almost certainly with leading wine or spirits brands, but perhaps in other categories too. You will have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop a clear business case and gain buy-in to your recommendations from senior management. Above all, you will have an intuitive understanding of consumer motivations and drivers, ensuring that marketing activity hits the mark and reflects the quality of the brand.
