Description

As the Communications Executive you will be responsible for:

Communications

* Supports the development and distribution of employee communications through content sourcing, collating information and drafting articles
* Collates metrics and reporting on the effectiveness of activities to support the strategic development of internal communications
* Works closely with communications, digital and marketing teams to identify and create stories and content to take to market
* Co-ordinates monitoring and collation of media coverage
* Supports and where applicable, manages communications across all channels including: intranet, web, PR, events, corporate affairs, and social media
* Assists in the co-ordination and preparation of monthly management reporting
* Assists in the development of communications materials including presentations, brochures, flyers and videos, as needed
* Follows corporate tone of voice and style guide and takes a proactive role to educating employees and suppliers on its use
* Works with design team to ensure that photography and design effectively communicate message and brand standards
* Collates, investigates and copy-writes compelling, error-free content for a wide range of channels including internal news, website news, and social media
* Supports on the company employee advocacy programme
* Demonstrates excellent project coordination skills with ability to multi-task and set priorities with tight timelines and high client expectations
* Acts as an ambassador for the company at all times
* Responsible for quality control of all processes and outputs relating to own projects (brief, plan, feedback reports, close out reports, message management, communications plan, meeting agendas and minutes, action plans, and monthly reports)
* Administrative tasks including reviewing and responding to requests, database management and general support to the wider team

Digital

* Coordinates the company websites on a daily basis ensuring content is always up-to-date and SEO best practice is applied
* Input into and implement social media strategy and drive social media engagement
* Manage and forward any enquiries received via digital channels ensuring timely follow up
* Create, dispatch and measure external email campaigns and ensure email marketing best practice is applied
* Management of email marketing platform and campaigns
* Measure and report on performance of digital marketing activities and campaigns


Profile

The successful Communications Executive in London will have:

Essential skills

* Degree educated or similar in Communications, PR, Journalism or related
* Experience of in-house communications for professional services, ideally built environment
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Experience of the full communications mix including media relations, social media, copywriting and content creation
* Strong interpersonal skills and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders
* Background using online CMS platforms, including SharePoint and SiteCore
* A team orientated, "can do" attitude with a focus on providing exceptional client service and a "roll up your sleeves" attitude to the required work
* Previous experience of working with Google Analytics (or another analytics package)
* Proven experience of digital content creation, including for social media
* Experience writing client e-newsletters and email campaigns
* Strong knowledge of social media channels and experience with social media engagement and listening tools (Sprout)
* Understanding of SEO principles for content production
* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally basic level in Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on InDesign
* Demonstrable experience of liaising with suppliers and consultants
* Excellent presenting skills and able to articulate ideas to non-marketing effectively
