An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an international legal firm as a Business Development Executive offering support to two of the firm's key sectors, Financial Services and Recruitment. Reporting to a Business Development Manager in London, the role holder will be based in either the firm's London or Bristol office.

A key responsibility of the role will involve working with the BD Manager, fee earners and Head of BD to ensure best practice in opportunity assessment, pitch management and pitch production. Drafting and maintaining pitch and credentials and deals experience documents, you will keep pitch pipelines up-to-date. The successful applicant will be tasked with ensuring the CRM database is accurate for the relevant sector, including data cleansing, recording all mailing activity and maintaining key folders and will attend key account meetings to drive best practice use of InterAction through the business. You will also maintain up-to-date client plans and provide support in developing client management tools and activities. From a marketing perspective, you will assist on the creation and implementation of the strategic marketing plan including creating and distributing marketing collateral; promoting email marketing best practice; providing support on client events; developing focused targeting lists using the firm's CRM database; coordinating thought leadership and research projects; drafting sector award entries; and sponsorship negotiation.

The ideal candidate for the role of Business Executive will be well educated with a background in a similar role within a legal or professional services environment, enabling the role holder to hit the ground running. Exceptionally organised, with a good eye for detail and excellent communication skills, you must have the ability to build excellent rapport with both the sales and marketing and legal teams and be confident in briefing partners and lawyers on sales and marketing initiatives.
