Through regular updating of existing media to agreed schedules and deadlines, to support the work of the intermediary team in terms of promoting the consistent image of the products, the people and the processes of managing money in order to secure investment sales.

Client Details

Our client is a well-known Investment Firm.


Based in London, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for:

* Updating web content - including microsites, unit trust website, the Marketing Hub and investment intermediary sections of the Group website and presence on third party websites.

* To maintain the logo and third party website content approval log for Group Marketing - ensuring content owners prompt third parties to update our content on their websites.

* Assist with ad hoc projects within the team, managing elements where appropriate.

* To assist with the production of data and information required for presentations, statutory and marketing documentation.

* To provide general marketing support across the funds and intermediary team and the Firm's Distribution team.

* To ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness of data across multiple media and recipients in support of ongoing third party relationships.

* Reviewing and updating the procedures and practice notes for marketing tasks; making sure each job and piece of literature has a note.

* To proofread or assist with the proofreading of all documentation.

* Assist with the binding of presentational material as required.

* To work closely with internal departments and external agencies to ensure adherence to procedures and processes, and to deliver to agreed timescales.

* Implement regular and tactical email campaigns to deliver digital communications that promote the unit trust funds and thought leadership content from our research team.

* Assist with reporting management information, and gathering marketing insights to assess the effectiveness of adviser communications


Based in London, the successful candidate must have:

* Graduate or equivalent; industry experience an advantage but not mandatory.

* A team-worker and able to work closely with a range of personalities and styles.

* Methodical and observant, showing attention to detail and consistency.

* Good prioritiser and able to work on a number of tasks at any one time with a basic understanding of planning to deadlines.

* Self-motivated and a completer/finisher without prompting.

* Has confidence to ask questions to seek clarification and to make known those issues requiring input/decision-making from other team members.

* Fast to learn, quickly assimilating and acting on simple briefs.

* Proficient use of Excel, Word, Powerpoint and the Internet (searching and navigation). Strong knowledge of a fund database tool such as Morningstar Direct or FE Analytics advisable.
