Strategic Communication Manager (SIO)

Are you a communications specialist with strategic communications experience looking for a new challenge?  Do you want to apply your expertise to some of the most important issues facing the UK?

We are looking to recruit a talented strategic communication manager with excellent organisational skills to join the Home Office Communications Directorate on communications activity to support the delivery of our key priorities that include immigration, modern slavery, border security messages and knife crime.

Successful candidates will display strong stakeholder management skills and be able to develop and maintain close working relationships. You will have experience of  being able to reach audiences with credible, useful communications that builds trust and engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to support on Home Office priorities that reach across Whitehall and beyond. 

You will be expected to support the development, planning and implementation of strategic communication programmes that deliver measurable change. You will therefore need to demonstrate experience across the communications mix, presentation skills, personal impact and project management ability.

This role sits within the Migration and Modern Slavery Strategic Communication team and will work in direct support of an international communication project.
