An exciting opportunity has emerged with a leading travel organisation based in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Communications Executive (Travel) to join a leading airline business, with responsibilities for media relations, external communications, events and PR activities and crisis management support too. You will also be responsible for internal communications activities and ideally, be available to start ASAP.

A leading travel and airline business based in West London; this role provides a welcoming team and an opportunity to drive a corporate agenda to success throughout the UK. This business is seeking a Marketing Communications Executive (Travel) to start as soon as possible.


Description

With the support of their line manager, manage the implementation of campaigns either from head office corporate or locally, e.g. announcements, product and marketing initiatives



Take the lead in liaising and building relationship with relevant Head Office Communications teams to ensure constant updates on upcoming campaigns



Proactively help on tracking ROI for all campaigns by monitoring coverage and any other additional brand visibility



Handle all UK & Ireland media relations whilst protecting and promoting the company image and brand identity, under the supervision of their line manager



Where relevant attend PR/industry events and expand network of relevant contacts.



Contribute to writing external speeches or announcements



In case of a crisis support the Communications Manager on any relevant matters for whilst protecting the brand image


Profile

The successful Marketing Communications Executive (Travel) will have a passion for travel and have delivered across the PR and communications space. Ideally you will have worked in leisure, travel, agencies and/or the travel sector and be available to start as soon as possible. You must be excellent at relationship building and have excellent written and verbal communications skills. You must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to last minute changes too.
