You will implement integrated campaigns using paid-for media, owned media, earned channels to increase student recruitment in key markets. The role encompasses advertising in digital and in traditional media; content marketing and ensuring that campaigns are also delivered across the universities owned channels (i.e. social media, website).

Planning - Taking a lead on the integrated marketing plan, using a road map for key markets, by managing all paid search activity; display campaigns and ensuring that University's programmes are listed on appropriate study portals/listing sites. Developing key marketing campaigns to promote student recruitment events appropriately

Managing delivery - ensuring advertising campaigns are performing to meet agreed goals, KPIs and to budget for specific programmes and in specific markets following the organisation's agreed strategy.

Evaluation - Monitoring and reporting on the overall performance of marketing campaigns to inform future planning. Producing reports as requested on the results of marketing activities. In-depth measurements of ROI campaigns.

Financial Management - Managing the annual advertising budget, allocating it against activities to achieve objectives. Work within a budget and report on quarterly spend.

Collaborative working - Developing strong working relationships with programme directors in key stakeholders to discuss and brief them on advertising plans and results.


Can you manage tricky stakeholders and ensure that campaigns are effectively delivered to brief? This University is looking for a marketer with a strong back bone to advise and influence internal and external stakeholder, ensuring that the Student Recruitment targets are hit via global paid for media and advertising.

You will need,

* Experience and understanding on an international basis of developing and implementing marketing plan, while turning strategies into annual campaigns.

* Experience of managing the key channels to market on an international basis:

- advertising, both traditional and online

- social media

- content marketing

- events

* Line management experience, motivating and leading more than one other individual.

* Knowledge of managing budgets and an understanding of financial management procedures.

* Excellent organisational and project-management skills, including the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.

* Proactive, responsive and flexible in relation to meeting needs of external and internal customers
