Description
You will be responsible for the creation of awareness, "buzz" and demand for the Leading Arts Body, ensuring that all exhibition specific campaigns effectively integrate press and PR activity with other marketing and eCRM activity
* Develop and deliver PR and media campaigns for exhibitions and events that capture the imagination, enhance the brand and drive positive coverage.
* Lead on crisis management and when appropriate, ensure clear lines of communication with key internal stakeholders and the press.
* Proactively develop and maintain influencer network to insure maximum high value coverage.
* Line manage 2 Press Officer's ensuring they have professional development opportunities.
* Produce a schedule for press packs, invitations, photo-sheets etc.
* Ensure key media channels are monitored and respond where appropriate.
* Ensure the effectiveness of press views, launches, press trips and events for the Arts Body.
Profile
Essential:
* Experience of reputation management for an internationally recognised brand.
* Experience of crisis management
* Experience of managing a press team.
* Experience of working with multiple stakeholders when developing press/PR campaigns.
* A great press contacts book.
* Knowledge of the techniques required to generate positive coverage both on and offline.
Desirable:
* Background in Journalism.
* Working for a museum/gallery or cultural sector.
* Press office or PR agency experience. Experience of social media to communicate with press and PR contacts would be an advantage.
Job Offer
Salary - £35,000 to £45,000
