Description

Based in London, the Senior PR Manager will be responsible for:

* Develop project-based PR programmes that includes announcements, events, campaigns and content development & delivery across multiple channels & audiences

* Create engaging written and visual content including press releases, statements, blogs, briefing documents, video, infographics and social media content

* Lead on PR & digital activity that promotes the value of Firm's products and services to a consumer audience

* Partner with the Marketing team to leverage Firm's sponsorship properties for PR activity including influencer campaigns

* Collaboratively manage the activation of PR programmes across Europe's seven sub-regional clusters through a team of in-market corporate communications leads

* Provide advice and support to local corporate communications leads on assigned projects or areas of expertise

* Create positioning and messaging toolkits for specific campaigns, initiatives or PR programmes

* Play an active role in the ongoing development of the European hub communications team, placing a strong focus on enabling local markets

* Partner with colleagues in the US-based Global Communications team, and counterparts in other regions, to influence global plans and tailor activity for Europe

* Proactively and reactively engage and develop relationships with top tier journalists across Europe to promote and defend Firm's reputation

* Respond to incoming media enquiries, escalating issues as required and drafting press releases and statements

* Develop strong relationships with senior leaders in the Europe hub and sub-regional cluster offices as well as Corporate Communications colleagues

* Manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with procurement and contract processes

* Brief senior management for media interviews/activities

* Ensure that PR activity is measurable including reporting to demonstrate the effectiveness of PR campaigns using media & digital analysis and evaluation

* Support other communications activities across the communications team as required


Profile

Based in London, the successful candidate must have:



* Passion for creating engaging PR campaigns that meet business objectives



* Proven experience of developing and implementing PR programmes, leading influencer campaigns and interacting with media, particularly in consumer PR with tech and corporate PR experience an advantage



* Experience of working in a matrixed, multi-national corporate environment



* Evidence of working as part of a multi-discipline team to deliver an integrated marketing & communications programme



* Strong written and verbal communications skills in English, with other European languages an advantage



* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with senior internal stakeholders



* Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure



* Effective management of agencies and remote teams, without direct line management



* Experience of media evaluation and analysis



* Experience of using digital channels and social media strategies for PR purposes



* Budget management



* Experience of managing crises & issues



* Educated to degree level or equivalent PR qualification
