Job Description

The Senior Marketing Manager-Product & Propositions will personally develop and deliver customer products and propositions for the bank,ensuring that these are informed by marketing insight and regularly reviewed.

Other key areas will include:

  • Leading the customer acquisition and retention strategies using an agreed segmentation model - aligned with the business plan and targets.
  • Owning the bank's channel management strategy with input from the Head of Transformation.
  • Managing the bank's pricing policy.
  • Conducting regular reviews to ensure existing products and propositions are fit for purpose.
  • Develop and chair the Product Steering/Governance Committee. 
  • Mapping customer journeys from product awareness to consideration and purpose, in order to ensure appropriate levels of customer information are provided per touch-point into a cohesive customer experience.
  • Measuring the impact and effectiveness of products and propositions to inform business strategy, including accountability for quality of products.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess a demonstrable track record within banking product and proposition management, having had exposure to current accounts and savings they will ideally have worked B2B.

Some experience of commercial lending /invoice finance would be a distinct advantage.

In addition you will be able to work autonomously and be 'hands on' across the whole product lifecycle from inception to delivery, managing internal and extrernal stakeholders in order to ensure that all products are fit for purpose and that compliance is adhered to.
