Product Manager required to manage the existing product portfolio, drive and develop the range and achieve commercial success. Ensuring customer service and satisfaction is front of mind at all times.

Client Details

My client is a successful tourism company with almost 1,000 staff and managing almost 3,000 sites across the UK and Europe. Having been in business for over 100 years, they have become an institution and are known for running high standard sites and offering amazing holidays to their 1 million customers.


The successful Product Manager will be responsible for:


Driving and delivering new product development for the UK product portfolio

Delivering a commercial benefit to the organisation and excellent service to customers

Ownership of product performance (maximising return and occupancy)

Achieving outstanding customer service delivery, via site audits, Guest and staff feedback

Constructing business case reports showing justification for driving new product opportunities

Building commercial pricing models and budgets for existing sites

Working up evaluation models for potential new locations

Analysis of key performance indicators, competitors, market trends and understand where internal and market opportunities exists

Determining the needs and desires of the customer

Evaluating physical locations and products to enable sound commercial decision making
* Making recommendations to invest, divest, and develop the UK Sites Portfolio
* Fully responsible for communicating new and existing product developments to internal departments to ensure successful delivery to market, in the form of written product briefs, training and presentations

Driving strategic and tactical marketing campaigns

Influence, improve and sign off marketing collateral as required (online and print)

Maintain robust two-way communications between external partnerships and internal departments


The successful candidate must have:


Previous experience within a Resort/Hotel/Hospitality/Travel/Leisure organisation

Demonstrable prior experience and an understanding of what it takes to deliver outstanding product performance

The ability to lead, persuade and inspire others to drive forward results

Strong and clear communication skills
* High attention to detail and a thorough 'can do' attitude is of paramount importance
* Experience of preparing and producing high-quality written reports and business cases for senior management
* Strong organisational skills whilst working to tight deadlines
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a small team and work across functions and departments
* A-levels or a Degree
* The ability to travel UK wide when necessary as some overnight trips will be required
