A successful law firm requires an Internal Communications Manager to support the Head of Marketing & Communications in promoting a greater understanding of the firm's vision, brand values and market positioning, whilst ensuring the firm stands out from its peer group so that it attracts and retains both clients and talent.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the Internal Communications Manager will work as part of the Marketing & Communications team and you will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of strategic internal communications and marketing objectives to increase the market profile of, and engagement within, the firm. The role holder will be expected to use creative communications techniques to drive, develop and implement an internal communications strategy and will work across the business, leading all internal communications activities. The successful applicants main duties will include the management of all internal communications; editorial responsibility for the staff quarterly magazine and bi-annual alumni magazine; the creation and roll out of content including white papers, research reports, brochures and infographics; ensuring intranet content and information is up to date; commissioning and directing video programme; and promoting and protecting the firm's brand.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with outstanding written and oral communication skills and a keen eye for detail including strong proof reading skills. You should thrive whilst working under pressure and be able to adopt a flexible approach to multi-tasking developed whilst working in a professional services environment. It is also essential that the Internal Communications Manager has the gravitas to work hand in glove with firm wide leadership and senior stakeholders and possesses an in-depth understanding of brand and reputation.
