As the Global Brand Controller you will be responsible for handling and developing the marketing strategy and promotion of all products and services around the world. Based at head office in Liverpool, you will also have the opportunity to travel to their international sites across Europe, Asia and America.

A British food manufacturing company with over 100 years experience, a leader in its field, supplying into the foodservies sector and into the multiples.


As the Global Brand Controller you will be responsible for two of the most profitable brands within the group. With 2 direct reports and closely working with international sales and marketing teams, this is a pivotal role for the company.

Duties include:

* Plan, execute and evaluate several high-impact campaigns each year across the globe

Control expenditure within agreed budgets.

* Develop brand strategy through collaboration with stakeholders

* Build strong collaborative relationships to understand local market needs

* Work with Head of Brand to facilitate alignment between territory strategies and global strategy

* Lead implementation of global brand strategy

* Establish business opportunities and propose a compelling strategy and business plan to maximise these opportunities.

* Develop a thorough understanding of competitors and demonstrate deep consumer and market understanding

* Demonstrate accountability for performance vs. brand objectives through regular evaluation of market

* Drive brand growth through focus on innovation

* Drive brand value through development of 360 degree marketing plans, to include guidance for pricing and merchandising strategy

* Collaborate with territories and market research to develop superior consumer insights that lead to winning product concepts


The successful Global Brand Controller will have:

* A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
* Experience working in an international marketing role
* Experience of new and traditional marketing channels; experience of digital and web marketing is essential
* Strong Communication skills
* The ability to influence senior stakeholders
* A collaborative approach
* Willing to travel internationally
