The Role

The Digital Performance Marketing Manager will be a pioneer in building new models for how to reach, connect, engage and build consumer relationships in an online retail environment.  They will create from scratch the customer experience and roadmap of how to build brands in new revenue channels of the future that give direct access to consumers and build new digital performance marketing skills and execution. 

They will be the lead interface for the eCommerce team with the media team & with external media partners such as Google, Spotify, Facebook, Snap Chat, managing a growing budget to deliver the best, connected world experiences for consumers, and taking that insight and sharing it internally. 

Accountable for growth in new frontiers, the Digital Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for reaching people and capturing their attention. They will craft and create the plans and execute them with full gusto and the support of an all-star team, sharing insight with others to continuously optimise in real time.  They will own customer collaboration and have the chance to work alongside the most progressive minds in Digital, Consumer Goods & Retail. 

Success in this role will be measured using the following metrics:

  • Digital Measurement & Performance Tracking – Click through rate, Cost per acquisition, Life Time Value 
  • Growth for new revenue stream customers  
  • Perfect Store Online Scores – Search, Ratings and Reviews & Content 


The candidate

You will require high performance experience in end to end digital marketing providing excellent customer experiences and optimising digital performance & tracking measurements. Business savviness is inbuilt and you will have demonstrable experience of delivering against business performance metrics. you will possess a people centric approach with creativity and flair for detail to build brands.

As well as the technical abilities you will have growth thinking to reach the business’ ambition, and be someone who works with the agility of an entrepreneur.  You’re the go-to for all things digital and you’re a guru when it comes to innovative thinking & insight. You get people, you’re a critical analytical thinker, quick learner, and have the intuition to chart the unknown. Fast. Co-creating innovative digital marketing programs and pioneering nextgen data & behavioural analytics are just a few of the things in your bag.

Your natural ability to influence and have impact will have been gained from previous experience in a high visibility role and you will have worked within an environment where you have had to manage huge amounts of complexity.
