Your Job:

The Retail Marketing Coordinator is critical to our success with our retail partners.  In partnership with the EMEA Retail team and the local Sales and Marketing team, this role will be responsible for developing and executing the right retail marketing plans for Brooks retail partners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Planning, presentation and activation of retail marketing plans for retailer segments (Key accounts, lighthouse customers, buying groups, SRAs) based on the seasonal demand and sales plans for UK & IE based on EMEA directives
  • Development and execution of agreed retail marketing activities for key retailers (Key Accounts, lighthouse customers, Buying groups, SRAs) and standard POS programmes
  • Working closely with Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Marketing Manager, Tech Rep Manager, Sales Reps, Tech Reps and other Retailer Coordinator on POS retail marketing support and seasonal launch plans
  • Ensuring consistent and continuous visibility of the Brooks brand and products at POS (brick & mortar, online, social, PR, retail events) as well as continuous marketing support of Sales and Tech Reps to drive sell through
  • Execute project requests for in-store and digital retail needs that are executed on time and within budget
  • Plan and execute special in-store and corporate events for key retailers
  • Maintain retail client relationships with key account buyers, marketing teams and management
  • Plan and monitor respective account marketing budgets under the direction of the Marketing Manager
  • Travel with Sales and Marketing Management to account meetings and tradeshows for retail marketing presentations and other commitments
  • Liaise with the EMEA team to meet close deadlines and ensure deliverables are met on time
  • Planning, presentation and activation of relevant running event plans, sponsorships and other live activations forming part of the seasonal marketing calendar for UK & IE
  • Planning and execution of UK & IE vendor shows or other retail based events with the Sales Manager
  • Close co-operation with all other UK & IE/EMEA marketing areas advertising, PR, Digital, retail, graphic design to achieve consistent brand communication
  • Continuous updates with Marketing and E-Com EMEA to ensure brand consistency and alignment on EMEA marketing strategy

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business/marketing)
  • 1-3 years of relevant sales and/or marketing experience (brand, footwear, retail & lifestyle experience)
  • Good understanding of brand building and integrated marketing approach
  • Good understanding and knowledge of retail and direct marketing
  • Readiness to travel and attend meetings and offerings with customers as well as events
  • Good knowledge of following software: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Strong passion for the running enthusiast and practicing an active lifestyle
  • Able to generate new ideas and creative solutions
  • Driven & energetic, trend-conscious, sport-savvy
  • Flexibility to work on own initiative or within team and cross-functional framework
  • Excellent organizational and management skills; ability to multi-task, combining strategy and execution
