As one of two internal comms specialists in the firm, this role will be responsible for ensuring all activities and messages associated with projects are communicated, understood and fully embedded within the organisation.

It is expected from the elected candidate as Internal Communications Executive, that she/he:

* Supports the Communications and PR Manager in planning and executing internal comms initiatives in line with strategy.

* Coordinates and supports firmwide projects and initiatives to increase overall awareness and engagement for: Corporate Responsibility, HR, graduate recruitment, IT, innovation, leadership/management comms, new Business Plan, gender balance, values, the firm's new vision etc.

* Creates compelling content for calendar announcements such as annual results, half year results, as well as partner departures/retirements and office openings/closings.

* Works with Communications & PR Manager and business stakeholders to develop the approach and key messages for strategic internal initiatives, thereafter creating a regular drumbeat of content to ensure these projects remain 'front of mind'.

* Works with stakeholders to proactively identify content opportunities for those key initiatives which have been identified.

* Ensures partners are aligned on key internal messages and are briefed on initiatives to guarantee consistency of messaging.

* Supports M&BD team on firmwide communicating and embedding new initiatives eg brand refresh, new business plan, digital transformation etc.

* Helps to establish and maintain a content calendar in line with the wider comms strategy.

* Responsible intranet housekeeping, in particular the homepage, navigation as well as building 'hubs'.

* Works alongside IT to drive the development of intranet and adoption of new internal comms platforms, advising on implementation and governance.

* Works with the HR team to strive for consistency in the employer brand experience across departments/offices (includes refreshing the on-boarding experience).

* Supports the roll out and governance of new client tools and platforms to ensure maximum awareness internally.

* Coaches and educates key stakeholders on internal comms best practice as required.

* Supports the day to day execution of the internal video content strategy, working with the multimedia content team to deliver internal content in accordance with brand guidelines.

* Helps to evolve the internal communications strategy using new technologies that deliver internal messages in an engaging way.


Based in London, the successful internal communications executive would have:


* Minimum of 1-2 years' industry, Marketing or Business Development experience.

* Upper second class honours degree or equivalent preferred.

* Professional Marketing qualification is desirable.

Technical/Work-based Skills/Knowledge:

* A strong understanding of communications principles

* Strong attention to detail and very high literacy skills.

* Ability to develop strong working relationships and leverage these relationships.

* Project management and organisational skills.

* Capable of managing and implementing tasks with a low level of supervision.

* A good understanding of professional services businesses and an ability to articulate the firm's service offering.
