Assistant Brand Manager – FMCG Foods

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development of annual brand plans, including strategic analysis and strategy and execution setting.
  • Helping to develop an effective brand activation and brand communications programme, working with colleagues and key creative agencies to develop compelling executions across all media.
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments and opportunities, and borrowing ideas from excellence in other categories to apply to drive the brand.
  • Measure results of campaign elements on a regular basis, applying learnings and best practise to future activity. 
  • Assisting with the development and launch of new products and ranges, including the business approval process at all stages.
  • Leading packaging design and artwork development and shaping any structural packaging requirements.
  • Monitoring and analysing consumer, company and market data.

  • Robust experience working in a consumer driven brand team where you have been involved in creative thinking and through the line campaigns.
  • Passionate and people focussed – able to excite others both internal and external to the business about what you’re trying to achieve, and to nurture and develop your own team.
  • Excellent at building relationships with strong interpersonal skills, consistently displaying a confident, friendly and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong project management skills –able to manage multiple stakeholders to deliver a great result, sometimes working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Able to effectively operate in a fast paced working environment and needs to enjoy a challenge and thrive in uncertainty and change.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and possess creative solutions in problem solving.
  • Have a genuine interest and passion for food.
