This entrepreneurial start up are backed a larger group, launching in 2018 they seek a marketing and commercial professional who is able to drive acquisition and then longer term engagement and retention through best in class marketing. Reporting to the MD you will have complete autonomy and accountability for this challenger brands marketing strategy.
The business will enter the market utilising digital and online techniques, looking at SEO & PPC however the key here is about your ability to disrupt, the proposition is sound it is fundamentally about your ability to engage the market and acquire customers.
The focus in on customer, initially you will be working with agencies in conjunction with MD and group to drive the brand into the market. This is an exciting and also challenging role that demands the ability to operate commercially whilst maximising the opportunity to compete with the larger corporates.
You will own a budget but this is not about just building an above the line brand and campaign but about differentiating the proposition from the existing market and driving the proposition in a highly targeted and efficient way.
The ideal candidate will operate in a digitally led environment that utilises a multi channel marketing strategy to drive traffic to the site.
You will have experience of working in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment that has launched and you have exited, alternatively you may have failed but learnt from your mistakes, or simply you are looking for your next challenge, this is about rolling your sleeves up and driving this new brand into the market.
This is a key hire for the business and is seen as a catalyst for growth, reporting to the MD it is a highly visible opportunity to drive the future success of this newly formed challenger.
