NEW Client Development Manager- Private Equity role with leading global law firm.

The Client Development Manager will support the global Chief of Client Development (CCD), working alongside other Client Development Managers (CDMs) and client development coordinators, lawyers and business professionals to implement client and business development within the context of the London business plan and the firm wide strategy, with a particular focus on Private Equity.

* Providing client and business development support in the London office with a focus on developing the London anchor clients as identified in the London business plan developing the clients and targets of the following London teams: Private Equity and M&A, private investment funds and asset management supporting the global client programme as a key client manager for global client teams and participating in the firm's relevant industry groups in particular Private equity and asset management
* Working with the partners to develop business & client development plans and budgets for the anchor clients and teams in London
* Managing implementation of plans and budgets, regularly monitoring and reporting on progress
* Pitching, targeting and new business generation
* Working with the partners on the development and implementation of client and product targeting initiatives
* Advising on new business opportunities and creating supporting pitching and credentials materials including presentations, brochures and capability statements
* Managing or providing input on firm wide client pitches and promoting pitching best practice
* Overseeing client development coordinators in their production of pitches
* Delivering meaningful client, market and competitor analysis as required
* Ensuring a structured approach for maintaining up-to-date business and client information, knowledge and experience such as credentials and information for pitches
* Working with CCLs to develop and support the implementation of annual client team plans and budgets

Successful candidates will have previous Business Development Manager level experience from the professional services, ideally legal with strong experience in the corporate, private equity and asset management industries.
