Better Placed are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading construction Company based in South Leeds. As they continue to grow from strength-to strength, they now have an outstanding opportunity for a talented and passionate National PR Manager.

An exciting role which offers an excellent mix of proactive and reactive PR responsibility, alongside a full external communications strategy. The successful PR Manager will have the opportunity to continue raising the profile of this well-established business across a national remit.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing press communications and increasing exposure of the brand across all media.
* Playing an instrumental role in growing the business further by keeping the brand at the forefront of customer's minds.
* Maintaining key press relationships.
* Ensuring that PR agencies are managed and utilised to constantly improve brand positioning.
* Develop, implement and evaluate external communications plans and activity, including but not restricted to PR, Events & Sponsorship plans, as part of the broader Marketing strategy
* Develop, implement and evaluate internal communications plans and activity, working collaboratively with key stakeholders within the Senior Leadership Team and other key functions

Key skills & Experience:

* Previous experience working within either the housing, construction, or B2B market are essential to this role.
* Experience of developing and executing external communication plans/campaigns and measuring their effectiveness
* Experience of developing and executing internal communications and employee engagement strategies/plans which support business goals and objectives, and measuring their effectiveness
* Experience of communicating with a variety of audiences and successfully influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.
* Experience of leading, motivating and developing a small team responsible for a range of projects and initiatives.

This exciting position is open to individuals who are currently operating at Account Manager level within an agency or to candidates who have managed a PR strategy at a management level in a client-side roles.
