National Sales manager - On trade - Wines and Spirits – Homebased (Ideally South East)
I'm working with a wine and spirits company, who market a range of premium and quality wines and whiskies from Scotland in South Africa. Enjoying double digit growth, this new position is a fantastic opportunity for a national sales manager to take on the most prestigious sales role in the business.
Reporting into the director, and manager the biggest P&L in the business, we are looking for someone to some onboard and lead a team of 6 people. Some of your direct reports are new to the business, so we are looking for true leadership qualities - a candidate who loves to teach, mentor, train and motivate in order to get the best out of your team.
Your customer base is focused on the on-trade, and you will be responsible for manage the team of account managers that develops business with a premium product portfolio of wines and whiskeys. The brands convey a luxurious, high end feel, and have a devoted customer base.
Owing to the industry, prior drinks experience is a necessity. We need someone that is passionate about the sector, and ideally has qualifications (IE WSET) to back this up.
