Marketing & Brand Director
Bravissimo is a dynamic multi-channel retailer that provides lingerie, swimwear and clothing for women who are D-L cup. We want big boobed women to feel amazing, and we aim to inspire our customers to celebrate their figures and feel good about themselves. We have 28 shops in the UK as well as a well-established e-commerce and mail order operation which accounts for 45% of the company’s turnover. We have ambitious and ground breaking plans and are looking for an innovative Marketing and Brand Director to lead the organisation through growth, whilst enabling greater relationships and communication with our customers, ensuring we listen to them, learn from them, laugh with them and are inspired by them.
About the role
As Marketing and Brand Director, you will be responsible for all Bravissimo’s marketing and brand activity including ecommerce, both at a strategic and day to day level. Managing a team of 17, you will be accountable for developing brand and marketing plans which identify specific marketing tactics which harness our customers’ enthusiasm to take Bravissimo to a wider audience and are effective at reengaging old customers, recruiting new and keeping our current active customers feeling emotionally engaged with us.
Bravissimo is in a period of growth and change and our team of 800 will increase significantly over the next few years. A dynamic, entrepreneurial and customer focused environment is essential for the company’s growth and success. It will be your job to ensure we have the right brand and marketing methods which present and communicate Bravissimo across retail, ecommerce and mail order in a way which supports our purpose and increases sales and customer loyalty.
We are looking for an experienced and empathetic Marketing and Brand professional with a proven ability to provide alternative return focussed solutions which raise customer experience and brand loyalty. You won’t be constrained by “how things should be done” and you will recognise when you need to un-learn previous learnings to create a better outcome or creative solution. You’ll have desire to make a difference to our customers and our people because they are our reason for being. You may be qualified with CIM but more importantly will be able to demonstrate previous success in translating a brand to customers and an organisation, whilst delivering a marketing plan which drives emotional connection, inspiration and sales. Ideally you will have a multi-channel retail background with strong ecommerce experience and you will understand how to measure performance of marketing plan. As a leader, you will have the ability to motivate and enthuse others and get the best out of them, and your excellent influencing and communication skills will inspire people at all levels of the organisation.
At Bravissimo we expect our directors to get involved in the wider business, so as well as being a senior Brand and Marketing professional you must also be adaptable, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
