Detailed Job Description
The Product Manager will likely be managing the Cabinets and/or Decors & Exteriors range. The key responsibilities of which will be to:
Take the lead and ownership of the product group by deciding the range content and (SKUs) selection by brand
Drive harmonisation and standardisation across all regions, brands, concepts and segments within Nobia taking a brand neutral approach
Have full product life-cycle responsibility including new products, maintained articles and phase outs
Develop constructive, effective and supportive relationship within the business (commercial brands, marketing, Innovation team and B2B commercial organisations)
Be responsible for building business cases for development projects taking the full product ownership by setting initial product value, performance and purpose.
Be constantly seek to keep up with news and trends within the kitchen and furniture market in general and specifically within the product group ensuring the range for the product group is proactively updated
Lead functional and constructional development by mastering the different product specialisation and also continuously seek expert knowledge outside Nobia.
Within Go-to-Market (GtM) process responsible for all range and product group related activities.
Have joint responsibility for central master data for Sourcing & Product Management by being part of building and maintaining a central master data range tool for Nobia.
Have joint responsibility for setting product attributes aesthetics and signing-off master samples.
Be liable for ensuring Nobia are at the forefront when it comes to products, solutions and materials for the product group thus ensuring Nobia´s product ranges are cutting edge and fit for purpose.
Follow the GtM process when developing Nobia products and responsible for activities linked to range management.
The successful Product Manager will possess:
Expert skills in product and range management to build and maintain a profitable, standardised and consumer focused range for Nobia and its brands
Detailed knowledge of the European kitchen and furniture market and business drivers, including consumer needs
Expert product knowledge within the kitchen or furniture industry in one or more of the product groups
Competent knowledge of furniture construction and material development
Knowledge of sourcing (production and logistics) and Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) processes
Exceptional range and product management skills; GAP analysis, SWOT analysis, Value Management, 'CoreLocalIcon' and Product Life Cycle Management & Marketing
Excellent awareness of trends and design factors affecting the European kitchen and furniture market
An excellent communicator with developed skills in communication tools like PowerPoint and other visual aids
