As part of this role you will be enrolled on to a training programme focused on product management to develop and progress within this global business. The Junior Product Manager will support the product management team in innovation, gathering market insight and developing solutions for customers.

As part of this role you will work closely with the UK based product management team as well as colleagues in the European innovation hubs to develop and improve product offerings.


The Junior Product Manager responsibilities will include:

* Supporting the product management team in all aspects of innovation from gathering market insights, investigating attractive market segments, exploring strategic search fields and developing unique, value adding solutions for customers. Leading to direct responsibility for a product portfolio.

* Assisting on maintaining and developing product packaging.

* Maintaining, adding and removing products as necessary, monitoring sales and profitability and making necessary action to stimulate demand.

* Maintaining a watch of competitor activity, communicate relevant information to the business to support strategy development and portfolio planning.

* Maintaining and updating the database in support of internal stakeholders and customer information requests.

* Maintaining monthly reporting, trend analysis and identifying issues & corrective actions at an early stage.

* Creating dashboards including Innovation performance.

* Providing functional support to product managers and other internal stakeholders as required.


The successful Junior Product Manager will have:

* Educated to degree level or equivalent

* A background in Marketing, within a manufacturer would be advantageous

* Knowledge of construction and/or building markets

* Strong skills in Microsoft Office package (especially Excel)

* A full clean drivers Licence

* Strong communication and project management skills

* The ability to build relationships

* Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
