I am currently working exclusively with a very successful Food and Catering business, who offer a truly unique product range based in Watford, Hertfordshire.

My client is looking to appoint an experienced Marketing Manager to take full control of the Marketing function, with a particular focus on their E-Trading platforms, who will report directly to the Managing Director. Ideally you will be very digitally minded , with both BTB and BTC experience and be confident in putting plans and strategy in place to really transform the marketing team.

Your key duties will include:-

**Regularly and efficiently maintain the my client's web platforms, including:
*Day to day website merchandising to support wider company marketing messages and seasonal/peak trading campaigns
*Supporting fellow trading executives to hit category sales and margin targets
*Analysing the performance of all activities carried out onsite
**Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, brand-appropriate and optimized for search engines, in line with the trade plans and strategy
**Own the monitoring of KPIs and trading targets, and escalate issues internally
**Produce reports to monitor website performance, taking actions to boost low performing areas
**Optimise key landing pages, as dictated by sales performance, to drive improvements across mobile, desktop and tablet
**Work alongside the Web Trading Manager to deliver new processes and strategies around onsite search and navigation
**Support wider eCommerce team to deliver new website functionality
**Develop a customer acquisition strategy (PPC, Affiliate, SEO) to identify and analyse trends, help optimise and convert traffic coming to the site, and support sales and ROI through all channels
**Work with applicable project groups to flag barriers to website conversion and help propose technical solutions.

This role will best suit an individual who is well organised, pragmatic, and a lateral thinker, with an inquisitive mind who is motivated to work both individually and as part of a team.

Key Skills:

Strong commercial understanding, with experience of working within a retail environment
Understanding of online consumer buying behaviour
High attention to detail with an ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Natural planner, looking ahead, anticipating and escalating issues before they arise, providing solutions, and meeting deadlines
Proven time management and organisation skills
A keen analytical mind, with a willingness to challenge yourself and solve problems
